My Passions
I have a tremendous passion for movies and you can say it is really in my blood. I say that because, one of my 3 older brothers is a movie director out in Hollywood (and his wife is an actress). My brother also teaches acting as a former actor himself. I love the adrenaline rush of a good workout and attend a gym & even have my own personal trainer. I ofcourse love music as you can hear from my playlist below. It randomly will shuffles through a list of 200 some tracks as you browse my page, though you can only view the track and band currently playing. To change the song playing currently, just refresh my page. Be sure to check out my portfolio. Lots of pics are in there as well as more info about me, including a navigational box containing for example; my protectors and favorite poems I've written. I also have a passion for philosophy & poetry and in my journal you can find poetry work of mine. I wanted to note, I used to play electric guitar as a hobby & am always looking to possibly get back into it. My other interests include; working out, philosophy, movies, computers ( I have a degree in technical support), web design, clubs, trying new things, open-minded people & romance.
Quotes
Too many people spend too much energy attempting to deny something they claim does not exist in the first place. Most ordinary people in the UK do not believe in the existence of vampires anyway. Why, then, do certain writers, publishers and groups feel threatened by the Vampire Research Society when it uncovers evidence that contradicts this apparent non-belief? It is to do with the identification of the existence of dark forces. These forces are meant to be hidden. Evil exists as an external reality, not merely a lack of something. It is an effective agent, a living spiritual being, perverted and perverting, mysterious and frightening.- Seán Manchester, President, Vampire Research Society(Quoted from The Vampire Hunter’s Handbook,1997).
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there,
wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. - Edgar Allan Poe
Do not ask which creature screams in the night,
Do not question who waits for you in the shadow.
It is my cry that wakes you in the night,
And my body that crouches in the shadow. I am Tzeench and
you are the puppet That dances to my tune.
- Karanzantor the Vile, The Traitor of Xian
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
- Caled Colton in 1820 in his 'Lycon'
There is much darkness to be found in blood.
But you may need to sacrifice your darkness-enshrouded spirit to find it...
- Anonymous
There are nine gates between life and death...
I will send you beyond the Ninth Gate!!
-Lycorne
Remember youth, as you walk by, As you was once, so once was I,
As I am now, you soon will be, Prepare to die and follow me. - Epitaph on a warlock grave
Sure, they were all going to die, but they'd go out with their
middle fingers upraised in the oldest salute known to the world.
-The Queen Of Swords
I could choose to be purely good, but I will not.
I could choose to be purely evil, but I will not. I will be neutral. In that way I am free to be what suits me best,
and no man can predict my actions.
-Lycorne
Philosophy
Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe which was created out of nothing and delicately balanced to provide exactly the conditions required to support life.
In the absence of an absurdly-improbable accident, the observations of modern science seem to suggest an underlying, one might say, supernatural plan.
-Arno Penzias(Nobel laureate in physics and co-discoverer of the radiation afterglow)
The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. The walls are covered to the ceilings with books in many different tongues.
The child knows that someone must have written these books.
It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written.
But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books - a mysterious order which it does not comprehend, but only dimly suspects.-Albert Einstein
The non-existent was not; the existent was not at that time.
The atmosphere was not nor the heavens which are beyond. What was concealed? Where? In whose protection? Was it water? An unfathomable abyss?
There was neither death nor immortality then. There was not distinction of day or night. That alone breathed windless by its own power. Other than that there was not anything else.
Darkness was hidden by darkness in the beginning.
All this was an indistinguishable sea. That which becomes,
that which was enveloped by the void, that alone was born through the power of heat.
Upon that desire arose in the beginning.
This was the first discharge of thought. Sages discovered this link of the existent to the nonexistent,
having searched in the heart with wisdom. -Passage from the Creation Hymn in the Rig Veda (exact date of writing debated; around 3100-1500 BC).
